Classification of prefix aiz- ‘away’ meanings: from Jānis Endzelīns approach to nowadays

The polysemic nature of prefixes in Latvian causes problems in prefix classification. Several authors in different time periods have proposed diverse prefix classification systems. In this research, three different classification systems of prefix aiz- ‘away’ are compared – the classification system created by Endzelīns (1971) in 1907, the classification system created by Soida in 1970 (printed in 2009), and the classification system proposed by Vulāne (2015). La riduzione della resistenza ossea che predispone le persone affette ad un aumentato rischio di fratture e di disabilità è molto frequente nell’anziano. L'età avanzata è un fattore di rischio anche per le cadute che di solito si associano all’evento fratturativo. Improving students‘ learning strategies is important for them in order to learn successfully. This article compares the self-perception of the use of learning strategies in Spanish and Lithuanian secondary schools students when learning science and analyse the students understanding of these strategies to determine the sociocultural environment influence on this perception. Results emphasize the need to include support actions to improve the management of strategies in secondary school.
